ANTENNA CONNECTIONS
The VHF/UHF Rod Antenna (supplied) is detachable.
Push the stem of the antenna into the hole w_ich is lo-
cated on the upper back cabinet of the unit/'

Connect the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna or VHF/UHF
Combination Antenna to the ANT. terminal of the
TV/VCR as shown in the diagram belew.

For the best reception, extendahe VHF/UHF Rod An-
tenna fully and adjust its position. (Avoid handling the
top section when making adjustments.)

Before plugging the Rod antenna ir_toantenna terminal,
check that/the pin is not bent. If it is_ent, straighten the
pin as illustrated, then plug the pin tlatoantenna termi-
nal. :

Use this connection il you_ cable system connects di-
rectly to your TV/VCR without a convener box.
With this connection you, 1) can use your TV/VCR Re-
mote Control to select channels, 2) program one or
more unscrambled channels for Automatic Timer Re-
cording.
