REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

You can operate most of functions from the Remote Control (included). The buttons on the Remote Control have

the same functions as the corresponding buttons on the unit.

1 POWER button- Press to turn q'V/VCR on and

off. Press to activate the automatic timer recording.

2 ALARM button-Press to set the time to turn on

the TV/VCR automatically. (See page 33.)

3 NUMBER buttons- Press to select desired chan-

nels and select item in the Menu mode. They cannot

be used to set desired channel during Timer Record-

ing. To select channels 1 to 9, first press the 0 button

and then I to 9.

+100 button- Press to select channels which are

equal or greater than number 100.

24 4 MENU button- Press to display main menu on the

23 TV/VCR screen.

5 SELECT button- Press to select setting modes

(clock, counter, tape speed, timer programming, CH

preset, etc.).

STATUS function- Press to display the counter

or the current channel number and current time on

thc TV/VCR screen.

6 REC button- Press to begin manual recording.

19 7 STOP button- Press to stop the tape motion.

8 8 SPEED button- Press to set desired recording

speed. (SP/LP/SLP)

or the Shuttle Ring. (See page 21.)

5 I!0 Jog/Shuttle indicator-Lights on when JOG/

SHUTYLE button is pressed. (See page 21 .)

1 4 |1 ,_og Dial-Turn to advance one frame in the for-

ward or backward direction at the speed with which

13 the dial is turned. (See page 21.)

12 Shuttle Ring-Turn to make rewind or fast for-

ward speed faster in the forward or backward direc-

2 tion in the Play mode or Still mode. The further the

Shuttle Ring is rotated, the faster the playback speed.

13 REW button- Press to rewind the tape, or to view

the picture rapidly in reverse during the Play mode.

(Rewind Search)

SLOW H function- Press to control speed in

slow motion. (slower)
